The Denver Broncos and Cleveland Browns have agreed to a trade
The Denver Broncos are sending: WR Kenny Golladay DET 0.72/2018 0.72/2019 RFA DB Jourdan Lewis DAL 0.23/2018 0.23/2019 UFA
To the Browns for QB Mitchell Trubinsky CHI 3/2018 3/2019 3/2020 UFA
2018 Cap Hit +/- 2.05M
The Broncos agree to this trade. I am in dire need of a QB and the way QB's go off the board in this league I feel the ones I like will be gone by my pick. If Trubisky can improve his pocket presence, reads, accuracy and strength this offseason and they get him some weapons I think he just might turn into a decent QB. I have a lot of holes to fill, but QB is top on my priority list. I wanted your top 5 1st rounder more, but I got a QB which is what i was after. Thanks for negotiations Browns and good luck this season.

Browns agree. I understand that starting QBs are in short demand in this large of a league, but I don’t have confidence that Trubisky will make it as a starter in this league. I don’t feel as though he is accurate enough in his throws, and feel like he will be out of a job sooner than later. This move gives me 2 players with good upside that produced when healthy this season. Golladay is a huge target that caught a lot of deep balls, which happen to be Stafford’s specialty. I think he’ll be a big part of Detroit's offense this season, and at a position of need for my roster. Lewis moved into a starting roll in Dallas, and immediately upgrades my defensive backfield. I think he’ll continue to score well in this format that reward a CB that can tackle well. I also clear up 2M in cap space, and with early picks in the 1st and 2nd rounds, I have some options to draft or sign a replacement QB, while moving to fill my starting lineup.

I have been thinking a lot about this trade. While Trubiski has his struggles the Bears seem to like him and he seems to have the starting job locked up. That is how I am analyzing this trade. So, the return is not near enough for a starting QB. I think more has to be given up. Veto 2-1

I think they can get more value for a starting QB but i don’t think this is a vetoable deal
Approve (3-1)
